STEPS TO BUYING

If you don’t already have one, I will refer you to one of my trusted Mortgage Professionals. They will provide you with a clear understanding of your financial situation, what your maximum budget looks like and will help you find the right mortgage product at the best rate.

Do you have a family? Are you a commuter? Suburbs or city life? Many different aspects of your life will go into determining the best location suited for you.

Where the fun begins! Based on your search criteria, you will receive daily property alerts so you can choose which places you would like to go and see in person.

After looking at recent comparable sales in the area we will determine an offer price and what the necessary and desired conditions would be, if any. Once the paperwork is completed, we will submit the offer to the listing brokerage. (Market conditions may alter this process)

The sellers have 3 options: accept, reject, or counter our offer.

  • Accepted offer: Hooray! Time to plan your move.
  • Rejected offer: The house hunt continues.
  • Countered offer: Further negotiations need to be made.

Once we have a firm offer it’s time to start packing! Closing periods typically range from 30-90 days give or take. Be sure you plan accordingly.

Expect to retrieve the keys to your new home in the afternoon. The sellers have until 6pm to vacate the premises. Remember to ensure everything is in good working order as soon as you arrive at your new home.
